Can EditSmart edit my client’s wedding video?
Yes! We’ve edited thousands of weddings, so there isn’t much we haven’t seen. From large, grand weddings with hundreds of guests to elegant, private weddings with only a handful of people and everything in between, we’ve edited them. Whether your client would like the video to have a romantic feel, high energy, a combination of both, or something else entirely, we’ll take it on! What about weddings from varying cultures?
From tea ceremonies to an emotion-packed badeken to exchanging rings and vows, we’re seasoned in many kinds of wedding video editing. With that being said, we will still rely on your instructions to guide us in putting the video together. If there are certain elements of the day that need to be highlighted, please make mention of them. Sending our team an example link is always useful. It helps our editing team get closer to what you and your client want.
I have separate audio recordings, will you sync them?
Yep! Syncing audio is included with each project, so feel free to upload your audio files with your video files. We’ll sync audio from any part of the day, not just the ceremony. So that includes reception speeches, letter readings, and so on. If we don’t know the language and we’re putting together a highlight with audio snippets, we’ll need more guidance on which parts need to be added, but we can still do it. Giving us file names and timestamps are a huge help and will help the editing process go faster.
If my client wants another video, do I need to upload all the footage again?
If it’s been less than 120 days since the project was completed, then we should still have all the files that were previously uploaded to us and can copy them to a new project within your account. The copied project will appear as a draft. Open the draft, double check the editing level is correct, adjust the instructions for the new video, and then you’ll be ready to checkout.
